The “Prospects of Information Technologies” IT School was started in South Ural State University in September, 2019. This school’s key aspect is the emphasis on the practical studies. Students perform tasks to solidify their knowledge. Applied Technologies has become the University’s partner, and our employees supervise students and prepare practical problems.
For instance, students got the task to develop a corporate forum. This task implies working on the authorization functionalities, dynamic loading and displaying data, searching, etc. Here is another kind of task: create the office map. It should display the list of employees, find and display the working place of a colleague. Such a map helps new staff members to settle into big offices.
Students use both frontend and backend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB. When the task is ready, we evaluate the job and make comments. The feedback is extremely important in the process of education, as it helps students to analyze their own work and master the technologies faster. We are happy to share our experience with the beginner IT specialists!
